Trey Anastasio Band was a lot of fun. The rhythm section is really virtuosic and dialed in, lots of Afro Cuban odd time rhythms. Each musician has a unique voice yet they gelled perfectly. Highly recommend checking them out.

KGLW don't miss. I preferred their normal formats to the symphony format I last saw because there is more diversity, and I dig all of the genres they cover. But it was still epic AF. Would love a rave set one day.

Me and the Missus were treated to a HomeFree show in York over the weekend. They're an a-capella band who did some holiday songs and sea shanties. I don't have pics because they wouldn't allow, but it was pretty entertaining and enjoyable even if not something I'd ordinarily listen to. The highlight was definitely the beatbox solo.

@mclaincausey yea i heard they been killing this tour. the little bits i've heard have sounded fantastic.
-
@ARNC I saw them in Manchester last night.....amazing and I am still recovering
-
@Darth-fader I’ll definitely feel it tomorrow – it’s been a long week!
-
We had Philharmonik play our spot last night. He won NPRs Tiny Desk Award in 2024.

-
@ARNC last time saw these guys was 2002 or so, good to see they’re still Rockin’
-
@GreenMan first time I’ve seen them live but they’ve definitely still got it! I think their new material stands up to the old and that seemed to be the consensus from overheard conversations in the loos afterwards.
Not sure if the renaming of the venue will stick - seems it should now be called Ally Pelle or Pelle Pally!
-
Mumford and Sons show last night in Birmingham.
They started at the front…

Spent some time in the middle…

And even did a lap of the entire venue…

-
sounds like lots of fun @Nocturama
-
It was @endo - surprised that over half the set was from Babel and Sigh No More, but that made for some great crowd sing-a-longs!
-
Ralph had a private concert tonight by members of the Bach Akademie which he is on the board of directors. The musicians are from all over the country.
