I feel like I'm in the same boat, -ish. I like the freshness of the color it comes as new. However, I am a bit worried about the color that it ages to being too yellow. It's also a bummer that it doesn't seem to take any antiquing or darkening in the wear areas. It seems to just stay one consistent color like a chrome-tanned leather would. Sort of the polar opposite of how denim shows its high-wear areas. @denim-dawg 's shirt is badass, but I'm eager to see one that hasn't been worn under other shirts.

I don't care about the eco-friendly aspect of natural leather. I like it for how it ages, antiques, and shows its story in color.

BUT, I've had my PR money set aside for a little over a year, so there's a good chance I'll knee-jerk that "checkout" button and buy it just because. My only struggle is that the wife said I'm only allowed one leather jacket purchase this season and I'm currently missing a black leather jacket from my closet altogether, so this has be worth forgoing a black leather jacket for another year.

Why is there a difference in prices, IH UK vs IH Germany?

@Luke_is_back Also the shirt looks different on IH Germany site. There are no two seams on the back of the shirt going down the length of the shirt. It’s plain and seamless on the German site.

@Go-For-Chill Hi pal! Appreciate your words and thoughts. Awesome that you´ve got your PR locked in to pull the trigger. Respect. Here are some raw photos of it from March (10 month non-stop daily wear), shot inside and outside, before I started to wear denim jackets and shirts over it. Hope this helps.

Bear in mind that we had no sunshine from Novembre to January, and form then on only a couple of hours a day, so apart from two weeks in South Africa over Christmas, this puppy didn´t get much sun tan until May.

@Go-For-Chill That's one of the key words in my mind, supple. It is a hassle free Quality leather piece. Apart from regular leather jackets, and the two months when I wore leather trousers as a 19 year old (haha), this was my first time with a leather shirt, natural veg tan and Simmons Bilt Blattwerk. I don't think I would have worn the shirt as hard as I could, running out into the rain and snow, falling on the ground, just doing all hardcore activities.. if it wasn´t for the fact that this was both to test the sample out and for the Rally. But man, it takes anything. Moulded immediately to my body, and after that I did not treat it until after seven months with Festovni Veci Boot Grease from my good Friends at Dundas in Norway. Very lightly brushed, so as to leave it as natural as possible. I can go on and on hahahaha

4XL, I wore a wabash pretty comfortably under it the other day . Initially, I thought I’d only be able to wear T-shirts but it’s relaxed a little bit since I first got it.

Edit: my PR from the original run is right at 25.5” PTP. I would still have to take a four XL. No way I’m fitting into a 24.5 3 XL.

Looks like IHG is still using the sample images, not the ones from the production model. The photos on ironheart.co.uk are colour and specification-accurate. I am sure @Shane-B / @Axel-HH will update their product page with correct photos in due course.

I just measured 2 of my XXL UHFs (including my watermelon!) and my XXL 246-NIN. All 3 sleeves measured 27"; almost the same as the specs for the new PR. Not sure why the concern over sleeve length, but hey, I'm 5'8", so I've never had sleeves that fit correctly anyways. lol

Am I remembering correctly that previous generations had different back panel designs for the larger sizes? Extra seems on larger shirts because of hide size restrictions?

Maybe that was a different leather product?

As an investment piece I just want it to fit well, so this is my concern over sleeve length however it will be good for tunnelling
