Looking for sizing advice as well as the anxiety of the drop approaches. I have the IHSH-292-IND in a XXXL and it fits me very well. Wouldn't want to go up or down. For another reference I've tried on a 21 oz modified 3 in a XXL and while it fit was a little to tight for my liking. l aways feeling like I'm in between sizes. Am leaning towards the XXL but little voice is saying to try the XL. Both measurements would work but finding it difficult to account for this fabric and lining.
What do you guys think? Thanks in advance
AnyIf you're unsure, or if you think you're between sizes, order both, try them on, and return one. It's not the cheapest way to find the right size, but it's the best and, most importantly, the safest.

Bit of advice on sizing if you wouldn’t mind.
6ft 4, 95KG.. typically wear an XL in western cuts (IHSH-218-BLK), or 44 in the regular fit Type III (IB)
I’d only be layering with a Tshirt/shirt, I’m on the fence here between a Large or XL, wondering how much I should factor in the added bulk, the lining is deterring me going off measurements alone

At your height/weight it’s hard to imagine size L being comfortable but it’s down to your personal preference so you never know. Best if you can try them on. I’m 6’3” / 190 lbs and bought my N1 in 2023 - I found L way too tight in the shoulders/arm holes and just not comfortable. XL is perhaps a touch roomy in body but perfect in shoulders and looks great overall. Good luck!

@thewizarrd hard to say exactly from body dimensions alone, as we all carry our weight differently. I am 6'4'' and about 100kg, I wear a range of XL and XXL shirts, XXL IHTL-1501 and IHT-1600s, and I would take an XL in this jacket to wear just over a tee.

@Alex appreciate that, our builds sound quite similar in that regard. Unfortunately most of my heft is around my waist

Great shot, the navy is so rich it almost looks black there.

Got mine!

I just grabbed the last Size L...I have an oiled in Large and a non-oiled in Medium in the Khaki color from previous seasons. I feel like my Goldilocks size would be to split the difference which is exactly where the measurements show this one...fingers crossed!

I grabbed XL in this mostly for the shoulder measurements ... hoping the chest and sleeves work
. While this should prove to be warm, I don't see myself just wearing a t-shirt with it ... if it's cold enough to wear the jacket, I'm likely going to end up someplace that I will want to be wearing more than said t-shirt when the jacket is removed. -

Just insane how fast the M's sold out.
-
@goosehd Yeah I did, and I found one that I have now bought. I wanted to get both a M and a L to be able to compare. I tried the Lightweight N1 on in L a few weeks ago and it was ridiculously boxy and wide on me. I'm almost always a L in IH otherwise and the regular N1's seem to be a bit more fitted, but I'm still not sure which size will fit me better.

Was lucky to try both the medium and the large. The medium was like ‘made to measure’. So glad I tried first as was set to buy the large, which was too long on the body and arms.
What an amazing jacket. Super happy. -
