Has anyone gotten their hands on this one? So curious how it compares to the sheep and steer. Haven't ever seen horsehide suede in person before.

@jackbrochill It is a little lighter than the Steer IHJ-49, also has a smoother surface. The steer has a rougher hand feel.

We ran a Sheepskin Type III a few years back which from memory, was very soft. But hard to make a direct comparison.

I personally feel this is one of the sleepers in the collection but, appreciate it's one of those things you need to see/feel to believe!

When this is released, do not sleep on it. The leather is one of the best that I’ve ran across being soft, heavy, and silky smooth to the hand.

It will take me a while to fully appreciate what I have with wear and time, but I’m impressed with the M65 version. I can only imagine that the Type III will make someone very happy.
