Thanks for posting the specs - will definitely need some help from the crew on this. Are most people expecting to take their usual IH tops size?

XXL is almost identical measurements as the turquoise flannel(XXL)I have coming. So I can try it on virtually lol(pretend it's khaki and won't get washed much)

@BrianR really boils down to measurements as all IH items do. Take your best fitting item, measure it the IH way, and compare those to the posted numbers.

Here's the video on how IHUK measures shirts and a good place for you to start. Record your measurements and work from there. Any questions and email the crew: shop@ironheart.co.uk

Hmm sleeves seems very short on this one in size large which II was aiming for. Might need to pass 🤔

@PJ same here.. sleeves ca 1.5 inches below the average for (my) xxl western shirts. I learned the hard way that while I can live with slightly too long, too short sleeved is not an option.

@tobi @PJ noticed that that the shoulder is wider than usual, maybe this will help offset the shorter sleeve some? 🤔

@flannel-slut naa.. even on the model shot https://ironheart.co.uk/collections/fall-winter-2025-collection/products/ihsh-426-kha it is a bit short. Anyways, I am not in urgent need for more shirts (cough) and this might be a nice option for those who complain about too long sleeves for IH shirts 🙂

@flannel-slut good point but not enough though. Like @Tobi Id rather deal with a bit too long than too short sleeves. Guess it just wasn’t meant to be with this one 🤘

@TuckedInShirt Agree, the sleeve length also puts me off. I don’t get how the sleeve length can vary with more than 5cm across the same western shirt pattern in different fabrics.

@danielb I don't know for certain, but I'm guessing it's because different fabrics have different thicknesses and behave differently when handled. In my experience with leather, this is how it works, so I imagine it's the same with fabric. If I try to make the same wallet pattern with thicker leather than what I originally designed the pattern with, it ends up being off and the proportions are slightly different. Apply that logic to a shirt where the format is much larger, and those small discrepancies add up to much larger numbers.

@Tobi exactly what I was thinking. Everyone deserves to get the perfect fitting shirt, and plenty of folks needing less length in sleeves. Plus I just bought a great khaki shirt. The season just started 😉
