I‘m stupid the olive type III is a size 42, that should be XL then. Considering I have some room in the N1, I think I can go with XL in the 19oz lefty as well. Now I just need to decide between the 19oz or the 16oz slubby, that looks also awesome. Any advices on deciding between those two are welcome (I know owning both is the ultimate goal though

Enclosed I compared some other products I own as well in a Large. I want to avoid the jacket to look to boxy but would like the room for a western or UHF to be worn with a T-shirt underneath.

@Indigo-Alchemist 14oz western is super thick. It's basically wearing 2 denim jackets. 12oz shirt in my opinion is perfect under a type iii.

Went ahead and got XXXL. First I thought that I might have been better off with SP-Large but after almost 2 weeks of non-stop wear It has stopped squeaking and maybe stretched a centimeter or two in some places. Will try to get as much wear before it gets too cold here because this is definitely a ''Wear with a t-shirt'' jacket for me.
Now very happy with my purchase and It's already a favorite after the initial quite brutal break in period.
Happy owner of two IH type 3s now, this and a SP-Large Superblack ( Both serve a purpose ). -
The only bad thing about this jacket is that .. I don't want anything else. I keep moving on from adding things because I always grab this and I know that will continue. I have a 526PJ that just hangs around the closet...

Could not resist any longer and Iron Heart Germany still had one sitting and waiting there for me… I think the size is right, I can even stuff a UHF underneath, what you think?! (I know I need to clean that mirror one day 🫣

Looking for a fit check and opinion.
I've coveted this jacket for years and finally decided to pull the trigger on an XL from a popular UK retailer as IHUK are out of stock. This is a size up from my 526PJ and I think it was the correct decision as it feels a lot more comfortable and still retains a trim fit.
However, the jacket arrived with clear white abrasions on the folded corners of the collar. Also the corner of the patch is missing stitches and is loose. Would this be a dealbreaker to anyone else? The abrasions were immediately noticeable on opening it as they are pure white with all the dye rubbed away. I planned to beat this thing to death as we all do but this doesn't seem right for a brand new item.
Exchange isn't an option as it is the last one in stock (maybe because of the imperfections).
