I've taken a similar approach, only in reverse. I have 1907s in ee width, and they're wide enough for my foot and very comfortable. Then I bought 877s, same size, same width. They definitely run significantly narrower, possibly too narrow for me in the long run, but I can't say for sure until I've broken them in properly.
If you want to play it safe, go for the 1907.

@Dmart yea. It’s a Japan exclusive but snake oil provisions is receiving them in the US. I sent them an email to pre order them. Seems like their stock will be small. They only had 1 size US 10

Currently wearing a pair of 2950’s I scored from eBay a while back. They were nearly new when I bought them, but that was many miles ago. I love the CRT leather and the round toe makes a nice change too.

Has anyone got a recommendation for replacements laces beyond Red Wing's own? I just snapped a pair of their leather laces on my Moc Toes

@m4xime I don’t have a recommendation but I’m sure I read somewhere that if you break the laces, contact Redwing and they will replace them.
I can’t swear to this. I just have a feeling I’ve read it somewhere. -

@Denimhead-0 It is def a slippery slope. I really liked my 1907 resoled with the flat welt. Its a damn shame they were too small. I'm tempted to do that again one day. I bet if I asked them, and paid the difference, they'd swap the welt for me before shipping..... I really like the CRT on the 45 last but the faux storm welt bothers me and adds unnecessary bulk imo.
