      Did anyone watch JJ drain that 60 footer on 18 to win the US Open and be the only player to shoot under par?
      What a fantastic way to win your first major!

        @Brock one of the most exciting finishes I’ve ever seen! Love the US Open…it’s fun to see the pros look like mortals on the course for a change. Spaun really earned it too, happy for him.

          @Brock We did, indeed.

          We flew into Las Vegas, so on the way in we played Conestoga, and on the way out we played Wolf Creek...both in Mesquite, NV.

          Then in St George, we also played Ledges, Copper Rock, Coral Canyon, and Sand Hollow.

          It was a great golf destination, as we all were hoping for.

            Wild final round, crazy finish. Bummed Adam Scott didn’t get it done.

            @guiltyparty that is too funny.

              @Brodie dang sounds like an epic trip! Wolf creek, ledges and sand hollow are on the list too! My father in law was down there recently and said it was all time! I’ve got some family and friends down there too so hopefully I’ll make it down there sometime soon

                @Brock Ya, it really was a great trip. Highly recommend.

                We all agreed we could easily make another trip out there and still have plenty of new golf courses to choose from, as well as play Black Desert again...it was so good.

                Our #1 target for the next time would be Entrada...it looked just about on par with Black Desert. Looking forward to it!

                              I think Rory said it best, “ I think golf should be held to a higher standard than what was seen out there this week. Golf has the ability to unite people. Golf teaches you very good life lessons. It teaches you etiquette. It teaches you how to play by the rules. It teaches you how to respect people," McIlroy said. "Sometimes this week, we didn't see that. So no, this should not be what is acceptable in the Ryder Cup."
                              He added, "We will be making sure to say to our fans in Ireland in 2027 that what happened here this week is not acceptable -- come and support your home team."

                                  Agreed.

                                  One of the things that used to make golf so special was that there were standards and decorum not found elsewhere in sports. Like cheering a player’s misfortune was extremely taboo and almost unheard of. When I watch golf, I view it as the golfers against the course, nature, and themselves, so I celebrate every good shot unless a golfer has given me cause to dislike them. That doesn’t mean I don’t have preferred winners, but it does mean I’m happy for anyone who can overcome the challenges of the game.

                                  To view it with the same sort of tribal “us v them” mentality that applies to other sports is completely missing the point. We don’t need golf hooligans, and the people who behaved that way should find a more appropriate venue for their toxicity, or better yet get some professional help and learn basic emotional regulation.

                                  Think it, be it.

                                        @mclaincausey well said and agreed on all fronts. I think a share of the blame falls on Beth Page as well and the PGA. Backing the sale of some fizzy drink that comes w a floating, SQUEAKY rubber ducky? Rallying crowds via intercoms falling short of ballgame organ music? If this is your jam, fine but save it for the fucking Waste Management tourney.
