Picked up the bargain of the century! Been waiting for these to restock for ages and saw a brand new pair on eBay in a size 33, one above my normal 777 32 and realised the sizing in these was one up. Sent an offer of £175 a minute after they came on the site and was accepted almost immediately! They arrived today and the fit is bang on

@Denimmacdaily we are, and have started to receive the SBG denim in a few other cuts so far, so hopefully within the next month or so all being well.

@Shaun do you guys have size charts from previous runs you could share? Specifically the original 2020 run? Or any feedback re sizing for this run? Will compare my 2020 pair against current but would help to have original specs. 2020 was same sizing for me as my 777 21ODs, ie a size down from my remaining 777s. Any extra info to confirm appreciated.

@Garrow Here is the size chart from December 2020. Please be aware that these may not be directly comparable with the pair which you received though as there can be a slight variation with dimensions.
As always, we strongly recommend measuring your current pair using our methods and comparing using those dimensions to the most recently published size chart.

I'm two years in and they're the best fitting IH jeans I have. I'm usually a size 33 in Iron Heart, but since 33s were sold out, I took a chance on a 34. Best decision ever—these 34s lock in like machinery to my body, fitting perfectly compared to my regular 777s, which feel a bit baggy. Black denim just feels better and more punk the more snug (not tight) they fit, IMHO.
That said, I still like the slightly baggy look of my 777s for a different style.

Are these the same denim material as the IH-8301S-SBG? Just curious if they’ll fade the same. Thanks

@rovdjurstorget agreed. Managed to snag a pair of 33’s half price brand new on eBay (am always a 32 in 777 but 33 in duck) and they fit like a dream. Great winter rotation along with my 21oz indigo’s

@AdamJ thx Adam. So I’m reading that these will not shrink because of the dying process? At least from the description on the site. Also I’m reading the self edge models do shrink? So I’m slightly confused if they’ll shrink if it’s the same fabric. Thanks.

All the SBG is sanforised, this removes most shrinkage. Denim is not washed, products are - all the international models of this denim are one washed, to remove any further shrinkage. The origional 8301S was specced so long ago, I do not know what they originally asked for, its possible they asked for the jeans not to be washed, and therefore they would still shrink a little.
The denim, regardless, is identical
