Bad ass ! Love that guy. I'm a Milwaukee native. I always appreciated the amount of time he spent playing here. I had the pleasure of seeing him play 3 times, back in the Joe D era. Once at Alpine Valley, once at Summerfest, and once at one of their NYE shows. Although, I don't remember much of the NYE show...

I'll look forward to hearing that album, someday...

@scooter one of my concert highlights was Slayer in 2006 in the only acceptable line-up. Lombardo‘s kick drum was like a neverending gut punch. Lamb of God, Children of Bodom and In Flames as openers, not too shabby

@Tago-Mago I saw them on that tour , the pit was absolute pandemonium. When they did Reign in Blood in it's entirety with the O.G. lineup talk about maximum energy. I think my then GF brought in a disposable and took some pics that I have printed out somewhere.

I wasn't familiar until I saw his Farm Aid performance. Reminds me a bit of Todd Snider. Solid songwriter.
