@FlavourFade Have you ever tried the 777? Personally I really like that cut. Seems to hit the sweet spot for me these days. I've got several pairs of 555 and 666 (and 634), which often work well, although I can definitely see your point regarding the tight thighs on the 666 and the high rise/tight knees/roomy waist on the 555.

@JunkPants good point, I prefer straight cuts lately because I find them better looking with boots but maybe look into the 777 cut again. Had a pair of 777s-21od a while ago

666 top-block is the tightest. Thighs are my problem spot, and 666 doesn’t really work because of them. If you can handle a low back rise, then 777 could be the play.

@FlavourFade going from the 555 to the 666 you will notice the difference in rise immediately. Maybe the 634 if you're after something straighter?

@AdamJ thanks Adam, how about the mobility in the leg? 634 is too baggy for me I'm afraid, in a 36 waist the big hem is not for me

@sabergirl okay I think I'll have to try getting them in my hands. My thighs are growing but the high rise is not for me too

777 isn’t really very tapered at all. Compared to other tapered models from other brands, they are really wide in the hem. 777’s are basically 555’s with a slightly lower rise.

@V-P as long as there's more room in thighs and knees a lower rise is fine... Lifting weights is finally showing haha

Yet black is my favourite colour, 21 my favourite weight and 555 my favourite fit.

I grabbed a pair, beat myself up over deciding on a fit again. Had two pair of 777s and after some washes I ended up wishing the rise was higher, so I opted for these but asked for the lowest rear rise.
