IHJ-122-IND - 14oz Broken Twill Selvedge Denim Work Jacket - Indigo

A work jacket made from our new 14oz broken twill selvedge denim. Broken twill denim was first used in 1964 by Wrangler as a solution for combatting fabric twist caused by the directional torque generated in the weaving process. The process of weaving fabric in this method sees the combination of both right hand twill (RHT) and left hand twill (LHT) reversed every two warp ends, forming a zigzag-like pattern in the denim and resulting in no bias in either direction of the weave.

Any chance this one is coming back?
I start teaching high school (Auto Tech) this year and my dress code is “industry standard” and this model matches the classic Dickies Eisenhower jacket. Hoping to have something to fade for the next Redline in ’26 that’ll be appropriate for work as well.

Pity, all your former chore jackets have a really big contrast between stitching, buttons and fabric, this one with a couple of darkened buttons, maybe a blanket lining even, would look great. Maybe a topic for " What do you think we should make?" thread. Thanks!

@ÆRϺΔΚ I tried the XL on at division road at the beginning of the year before dialing in my tops size. So excited to hear it's coming back!!! Now to decide between indigo and overdyed.

@ÆRϺΔΚ interesting take a the Work Jacket. I equate this the same cut I was required to wear as a Toyota technician. The zip is recessed enough that you could wear it without huge concern that you’d scratch the paint of a customer’ vehicle.
