Thanks folks! Will roll with it, was the first day cool enough to wear it in Vancouver (@Yoprst looks like your DP is from Vancouver actually) today that I have been around for, putting in the first of many wears!
-
@worn2fade Yer rapidly becoming IH forum star. Keep it up, keep us posted!
-
@Ikeaparty Yer right I live in Vancouver BC. Nice to learn that I'm not the only one IH addict out there in Van
-
@Yoprst haha! I just wish I discovered this forum earlier. Can be intimidating at first if you’re not used to the forum life but after getting the hang of it.. shoot!
-
@Ikeaparty your fit looks pretty similar to mine. I’m kind of on the same boat as you, I especially don’t like when I sit down and my shoulders pop up from my body but I’m just hoping with time it gets better. I’m a week and a half in and it has draped a bit with daily wear but I’m sure it’ll conform better with some heavy wear.
-
2 weeks!
I hate how my collar is lol, one shooting to the side and the other laid down right.
-
@worn2fade I’m sure you could even it up if you dampen the collar points and apply a bit of traction.
-
@worn2fade all of my denim jacket collars are wonky like that. Totally normal...embrace the asymmetry.
-
One of the benefits of left hand twill, hence the leg twist in the 19L jeans. I love it!
-
16 days in and I feel like this jacket is starting to finally settle. I wish the fit was a tad bit more snug, I can’t lie - but I still appreciate having the room to layer if need be.
Maybe the XL would’ve been the way to go but I’d rather deal with this than pay the return shipping back to Iron Heart lol
-
@sabergirl Oh I didn’t mean return it now haha, I know that’s definitely not an option. Before soaking it even the first time I was considering an exchange but I decided not to mainly because I didn’t want to pay return shipping.
Should’ve clarified that lol, & thanks!
-
@worn2fade Look at it this way: you can have another fitted jacket in the future while still having this one for layering.
-
@FlavourFade yeah and that’s why I appreciate the extra space! But truth be told it’s not very common to even need to layer here in Florida lol. But to have the option is still nice, I’m appreciative the jacket doesn’t look massive on me wearing it normal.
