Been turned on to a lot of great French punk/oi bands lately.

Béton Armé (technically from Montreal, but still French)

What is happening there lately and why is the music so good? Anyone into any of these bands have any other similar recommendations?

From what I've read, Judas Priest was invited to perform. But, they could not be there. Apparently, they were opening for The Scorpions at their 60th anniversary show in Germany. So, they made the Sabbath cover video to pay homage.

Been listening to Deftones for a good 27? years. They never disappoint. New album is a banger and the cover is cool too

I’ll love Deftones forever ️, Around the Fur and White Pony were the sound of my adolescence. They’re one of those bands from that time that I still listen to regularly. Looking forward to spinning the new album and feeling nostalgic.
