@SKT with my mushrooms I tend to put them in the oven at 250F for 20 minutes and then put in skillet with butter melted. It’s makes the outside crispy, locks the moisture and makes them tender inside as well.

Chicken of the woods? (I know nothing about mushrooms beyond the dozen or so that I’ve worked with over the years)

I have been avoiding this thread as I thought KF was another niche Japanese brand that I shouldn't be spending my money on!
Now I realise I too have been kept in the dark.
