@mecken88 the two colorways I’ve spotted look great but not holding out much hope I’ll be lucky enough to time it right. It literally feels like a 15 second window on some of their limited releases.

I've got several SJ items and dig them all but their launches are generally not well-handled.
Stuff drops with almost zero notice. If you aren't constantly watching their instagram page you miss it.
This shirt looks cool, but it goes on sale tomorrow and the product page isn't live yet. Is it heavy flannel? What is the size chart? I'd like to know some details so that a shirt of several hundred dollars is more than a fomo impulse buy.
Insta post: "These release on Thursday at noon PDT. Final details/photos/ specs should be on the site by Tuesday."
Today is Wednesday. I cant find a product page on the site. Launch is tomorrow.
Reality is it will still sell out nearly instantaneously no matter what. Good for Mike I guess.

Big fan of the Ship John x Wesco collab engineers, their great pocket tees, and various other pieces. But honestly, I’ve never seen such ill-fitting collared shirts and jackets on people in my life. Unless you’re built like Mike or have a frame that perfectly suits his cuts, I rarely see any pictures on social media where I think, “Damn, that’s a great-looking [insert item] with a perfect fit.”

he had mentioned they were going to release product info yesterday, but i guess that didnt happen. hopefully goes up at some point today because i too am curious about the sizing/info on it

Yeah iv been checking since yesterday for updates, but nothing yet. I find it very nice looking if the sizing is good. I’m often between Medium and large. But they are often very long fitting.
So I really hoped for the size chart to pop up in time for some thinking, measuring and ballpark ideas if it’s a great shirt to buy or not
But from what iv seen I want it. But the size chart would have helped for sure!

@mecken88 yeah im assuming itll be similar to the townes fit since it looks like that style shirt. same thing for me, I am between sizes, but like the mobility of the larger size

I have a Sashiko Townes (large) and a Indigo Striped Selvedge Townes (large) but the striped one has armpit holes that feel tiny compared to the sashiko, so if I attempt to buy this flannel I'll probably go XL with the intent of washing it often.

I own both the Todd Blubaugh collab shirt the sidewinder in medium and the green Jerry moleskin shirt in medium. Both fit me amazing. But looking at the sizing on Patton shirts I would rather be a Large. And the sizing in the striped denim Townes I would probably also be a large.
So curious how the flannel will be in sizing

yeah im a 3xl in the stripe, moleskin, and sashiko, granted on the sashiko ive tried to get as much shrink out as possible with hot washes/soaks. but then in the newer short sleeve they released i got a 2xl, and it fits really well, but a bit more fitted

Looks like size Large is more similar to my green moleskin Jerry shirt and Sidewinder linen shirt in medium. This new flannel seems to be closest to the Patton shirt that looks slightly more narrow.
So if I want a similar fit to my two shirts, I think going with size large on this flannel would be the best choice for me.

There’s something about the mismatched yokes and pockets that I can’t get over. That and the leeeeeeeength lol.

@mecken88 I snagged the 3xl, after going back and forth about 2xl/3xl i decided id rather it fit a little more relaxed than too tight, and worst case I will hot wash/dry to get a little more shrink out of it. hyped to have gotten one after waiting months since he started teasing this one

I was trying to snag a small but it sold out as I checked out, somehow I was able to grab a medium right after though. I’m usually in between small/medium in their fits and was hoping to avoid intentionally shrinking it but happy to get one…I've been waiting for this release for a while.
