Super stoked for this one, first foray into a denim jacket for me, will be waiting with trigger finger ready on friday think I may have to get two sizes and then send one back, unsure about the shoulders on the XXL

Excited to see the results of the new shrink test! Comparing the new Lod to this, it looks like the XL stayed almost identical in size, and the XXL only shows minor differences too. hopefully good news for those of us hovering between XL and XXL.
-
comparing the charts for L and XL they seem to be similar to previous runs where the lengths (body and sleeve) each reduce by more than an inch and the chest/body widths shrink by about .25 to .5". If anything, I seem to recall that the lengths on prior runs didnt shrink as much as this one, but it could be bad memory. Seeing a change in the XL body from 28 to 26.5" is roughly ~5%. Usually i thought this number is closer to 3%.

@Ikeaparty that's a smart move with this jacket as your first! Very slim and long, and it shrinks!
-
It is going to be.a hard choice for me between this and the Tellason coverall jacket. Super stoked to lay my hands on one of these.
-
I had ChatGPT convert the difference to percent.
-
Here’s the measurements converted to cm for those that prefer that.
-
Here are estimated measurements for size M, assuming the same delta % in cm and inches

@Bailey @Alex thank you guys for the fast shrink test and posting the results. Can you explain why there is still shrink potential in the fabric even tough it's one washed? As I read it in various product descriptions there are aggressive industrial washing machines in use for the washing process that should eliminate all potential shrinkage. Really looking forward to your answer.
-
@robinvonbatman these are not washed, check out the product link below full full details
-
@the246guy I have a tellason chore coat and I would say get this 100/100 times.
-
Neat to see that the vertical measurements seem to shrink more than the horizontal i.e. length of sleeve and body shrink more than p2p and shoulder, which p2p and shoulder are the ones that I waffle the most on, also the 600 RPM spin seems to confirm the shared knowledge from IH crew that agitation leads to more shrinkage than water and temp alone
-
I think it’s about time I grab this one.
-
@Davids_denim oh man is it ever time! You will love the ride this one takes you on. I think a lot of us will be keen to see what you do to one of these.
-
@Oaktavia @Mizmazzle this is the motivation I need.
-
Were the previous iterations of this always totally unsanforized? I thought they were one washed.
-
@Davids_denim hate to miss this one again but maybe I’ll follow in your footsteps again a couple years down the road
