Gus likes cars, doesn’t like when we work on them, and is starting to sleep a lot more now he’s 9. Working Cocker Spaniel. They’re a lot!
-
@Daysleepers awesome photos of Gus, and a great name. The one of him looking up to the camera through the rectangular hole is priceless.
-
@Oaktavia my step dad was particularly pleased with that, apparently the gearbox going in there was a “dog box”. Whatever that means.
-
This is Chauncey, he is a tiny little pooper. Shout out to @youngofthesoonest for bringing Chalupa Batman out in his handsome ass denim which led to me buying this for the little guy.

Zapata - keeping an eye out for coyotes this evening.
-
Mambo - also on coyote watch.

Sorry if it leads to a graphic mental image, but anyone had a pet with chronic prolapses? If so, anything you do for treatment/management? Seen two vets and sounds like my 9month little male kitten may be living with it for life. A rambunctious little fellow, and the issue doesn't take any wind out of his sail!

Dirk - I am having issues finding a good lead for Yuki, the one I have's plastic keeps snapping, and there is no easy way to clip it to yourself so I end up with a tie/noose. I note yours looks great, do you recall where its from?
Any UK based owners have recommendations either? @EdH perhaps

@Alex what a gorgeous derpi pooch!
-
@Alex you could always use an old school chain style leash. Can clip to itself and generally won't break. Only issue is rust if you leave it out. Though they aren't comfortable wrapping the leash around your hand
-
@Alex Sorry for the delay in getting back to you mate - I've been laid low this week by a stomach bug that's doing the rounds.
We use this lead: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Halti-Double-Ended-Lead-Red/dp/B07JM68Q78/ref=sr_1_7
It's quite versatile as the various attachment points allow you to use it at various lengths depending on how much freedom you want pooch to have. Or the second clip also allows you to use it on two-point harness, which can be helpful for teaching dogs not to pull.
The other places to attach clips also allow you to easily make a loop and wear it around your neck without creating a literal noose!
We've had the same lead for 4+ years now, so it seems to last, no complaints from us!

@EdH that's a pretty cool leash. Never seen one like it
