I know this is the wrong place to ask this due to every single one of you being enablers: Would this be a redundant piece to own seeing as how I have the OD CPO?

@VegaS10 Definitely nothing redundant about the 409. Both pieces are 19oz, that is about where the similarities stop. 409 Indigo/black is worlds different than overdyed indigo. Texture is totally different. Color is not the same. No little W on the pocket of the 409, no side selvedge gussets.

@Oaktavia What 19oz OD CPO are we talking about? I have the 19oz IB 409 and the 18oz OD (293), and those are indeed completely different in almost all respects (except that they are both hefty)

There is only one 19oz OD CPO and it is the Self Edge collab that dropped last month.

@Oaktavia I don’t have the 409, but would love to know your opinions/analysis of the two fabrics (themselves).

I’ve come to the resolve that 19oz is my sweet spot for jeans…i end up wearing/fading this weight the most on my legs…and evidently, I am all-in on the 12/14oz for tops.

Regardless, I would love to hear your insight into the differences wrt these two denims. In my mind, the 409 ib is more similar to 19L. or else more similar to the RHT 19oz SEXIH07/09 collabs? I wonder if the 409 fabric existence was borne out of SEXIH25 sampling?
