@Mizmazzle awesome! Great pictures. If you see Redbreast Cask Strength on a menu, give it a try!
You’re 100% right,as Red Breast 12yr cask strength was my absolute all time favorite Irish Whiskey until I tried Blue Spot. If you come across any of that,don’t hesitate.

Went on a bit of a whiskey pub crawl yesterday and into the Devil Makes 3 show. Hell of a fun day and we got proper rowdy!!
Great suggestion @americanathreads for the Indigo and Cloth coffee.
Lotta whiskey yesterday
Hearty Eats
The Devil Makes 3 (excellent show and awesome crowd)
Things got a little hazy by the end of the night

@Mizmazzle I see that you already found some of the Green Spot. This is the Blue Spot that’s quite hard to find in the states. I was fortunate to get this bottle at MSRP of $129,but I’ve seen it as high as $279. Curious as to what it retails for over there.

@Mizmazzle love to see it, man! Indigo and Cloth is a vibe. Some great photos of some “proper” Irish activities
. FX Buckley’s is a great spot. Shame about the pours, hope the trend doesn’t continue..
@Jett129 wow! $279. I bought a bottle when I was home at Christmas for the cabinet and it was €100. $279 is steep, pre-additional tariffs as well…

@Mizmazzle
awesome trip dude
love your travel report!! -
@Mizmazzle The pours are strictly measured in the UK. It's a bummer, but you'll just have to take good notes on what to buy when you get home, or start figuring out how to get as many bottles safely home as you can. Between the two of us, my wife and I brought back 4 bottles of whisky and 4 bottles of gin from Scotland a couple of years ago. The sturdy bags that IH tees come in, plus a cozy wrap of some clothes makes for a safe journey home for bottles. For our upcoming trip to france, we bought some inflatable bottle sleeves

@Mizmazzle love bone marrow
-
@Tago-Mago it’s sooo good…this one had a chimichurri on it that was really nice.
-
If you planned on trying some coddle whilst in Dublin I highly recommend Gravedigger's, a beautiful old pub with some great food and of course a perfect Guinness!
-
Yesterday marked the beginning of the road trip chapter out to the south west coast of Ireland. We landed in Ballyvaughn and we couldn’t be happier with this gorgeous little seaside village.
Pit stop in Athlone
Ballyvaughn!!!
Coolest little pub ever!!
Local oysters, shrimp, and mussels
Back home after a long day and night (love how light it stays until so late)

@Mizmazzle
the food looks awesome!
so much good food and drinks may result in upsizing when reaching Gos Vegas -
Great pics @Mizmazzle loving seeing your adventures
-
@Mizmazzle perhaps it’s just the angle, but that looks like a proper pour…

Though I do find the pours round these parts to be a bit on the shy side…
Wait till you get here:
"In the Republic of Ireland, the standard measure for spirits in licensed premises is 35.5ml. This measure is equivalent to one standard drink containing approximately 10 grams of pure alcohol. In contrast, the standard measure in Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales) is 25ml."

@Mizmazzle I will also definitely be keeping my eyes open for that one. Hadn’t previously heard of it.
