@fuzzybunnies I think it's a little big but if you plan on layering it could be fine

@fuzzybunnies I like this fit. It’ll mold to your body over time and tighten up a smidge with a hot wash if you need it. Can also unsnap the first cuff snap and fold the cuff back an inch while you wait for it to conform. Personally I’m usually much happier long term with an initial fit like what you’ve got there than snug, but to each his own.

@ironfadegreg , on the last two pics, the upper part of the sleeves look too baggy. The medium gives you proper shoulder placement and sleeve length.

The real question is how do you wanna wear it ? shirt or overshirt ? M looks also better to me if you wanna wear it as a shirt, if you would like to wear it over UHF for example L is your best bet.

@Desperado213 Using height and weight as a guide to purchasing clothing is not always a good idea. You can have two people very similar in height and weight, but very different builds. Some of us carry weight in our chest and shoulders, others in the waist, thighs, and hips.

If you haven’t done so, please watch this video on how to measure shirts: https://forum.ironheart.co.uk//post/5663

Measure your best fitting shirt using this method and compare to the chart that IHUK provides.

If you still have questions, please email the IHUK crew: shop@ironheart.co.uk for further assistance.

I am inbetween a large/Xlarge in this one.....I could wear either, but for me the X-large was better, just slightly more relaxed and layer-able

@goosehd I'm not using height and weight to order a shirt but it's a nice additional data point. For the same reason IH gives vitals for their people and what size they wear.

@ironfadegreg I think the medium looks a little TOO snug around the belly but thr arms on the large look way too long. I think if you got the sleeves tailored on the large it would be perfect, otherwise maybe the medium will relax A LITTLE? I've read that duck doesn't really stretch though.

@alanight I have same situation, large is too tight and XL sleeve length isn't ideal. The stiffness prevents a full cuff fold up, however a half cuff seems to work (approx an inch). Lovely shirt and look forward to it loosening up over time.

@Niney yea with this one I feel like being on the bigger side is best. I went XXXL and the sleeves I guess are a little big but it's perfect in the torso. Half cuff might do wonders for it, great idea!

@alanight enjoy fella and embrace the slightly long arms (seems a theme for most shirts with me). I like that i can wear a UHF under it and isn't too snug on the shoulders and chest (albeit not sure i could button it lol)

It's probably too late to help anyone, but I took some measurements today and compared my size XXL IHSH-235-OLV to my new size XXXL IHSH-422-BRN.

                                  • Chest measurement was the same (24")
                                  • Belly and bottom opening were 1/4" wider on the 422 (so close enough).
                                  • Body length was actually the same (31")
                                  • Shoulders on the 422 were about 1/2" wider (19 3/4" vs 20 1/4").
                                  • Sleeves on the 422 were 3/8" longer (27 1/8" vs 27 1/2").

So at least in my case (admittedly, just two samples) the 422 ran smallish, and I am glad I trusted IHUK's measurements and sized up. I still would really love to try on a size XXL just to see if it was too constricting, but I am happy with my fit in the XXXL.-

@jimmer_5 I sized up as well from my normal XXL and it fits great. Normal XXL would be too small I believe

Crosspost from WAYWT. I rarely wear CPOs anymore and had no intention in purchasing this. However, when the second size XS arrived a little later than the initial drop at IH UK and it sat for a week not being purchased (@Luijim78 snagged the first size XS which looks great in his posts), I inquired of the team of the exact overall dimensions and fortunately this size XS dimensions were identical to my typical western shirt dimensions - not the typical CPO dimensions that usually run a little bigger and longer. Thus, I finally have a 17oz duck western shirt already pimped with copper snaps (and the bonus pockets if I should ever need).
