@Mizmazzle I was looking up how may days of school WV has too and it is 180 minimum. Maybe the 160 for CO is minimum too and your county opted for more? Or my Google search could be old or incorrect. I only looked on there for a few seconds.

I presume its so that if one of them gets lost, their mum can go to the authorities and say "looks like this, but [taller/shorter]".
