Y'2 Leathers….

I think as a retailer someone is going to hold it against you
Exactly. And working out what the carrier will charge for handling is a guessing game at best. Again, it's a carrier/country specific random levy.

@BorisB For what it’s worth, I think that the tariffs themselves are applied by the origin country of the goods, which in this case would be Japan (rather than Canada). That being said, I think you are completely correct… a (possible) nearly $500 swing on top of an incredibly expensive jacket isn’t reasonable. I put that responsibility on TJ to figure out for you… But maybe that isn’t a reasonable ask of me, and we’re just spoiled by the way IH conducts their business
Just for your edification; this is 100% backwards. The tariffs are levied and collected by the receiving country.
Remember, the point of a tariff is to encourage locals to buy local. They are levied by the receiving country on their own people.

@Kasi I think you are going to enjoy it, Y'2 craftsmanship is outstanding. What did you pick up?

X post from WAYWT
I picked this blue roughout Y’2 coverall up from eBay. I was after a suede/roughout chore type jacket and this fits the bill nicely I think.
-
What size did you get for your type 1.
-
@Kasi
I’am not sure at the moment42 or 44.
Will check when back home mate .
Which version are you after? -
I got type 1. Went for size 40 paid for it, was out of stock, then got 42.
-
@NickD love this jacket, the fit looks great.
-
@Kasi
yes you said Type 1 , but what color and leather?
I have the aniline dyed one the LB-140 , the leather is fantastic!
-
Same one as your.
Only on my mind 42 hope it not to big.
That’s why I ask out your size.
-
@Kasi
that’s the measurements from the shop -
@Daniel-San seen that’s for 1mm leather mine is 1.3mm
Also run smaller than size guide
-
That’s what I was thinking everything is right in the measurements
It’s the chest runs bigger. 1 inch boxy in the body I will get to. -
