Concur with the hype around the slub no7 shirt. Love the fabric and how soft it feels on top of the texture. For anyone whose had a slub warehouse shirt the texture is similar but a little more pronounced on this one. Fabric weight feels a little less than the 11oz IH shirts. The cut on them is fantastic for me too, maybe mid way between an 11 and 7.5 oz shitomachi? The fabric is also dimensionally very stable wearing and after machine washing and drying. The only minor complaint is that it has side seams but it's worth it for everything else imo.

@Mizmazzle No, only the indigo one is a No. 7. The remaining 3 (black, olive and brown) is No.7 slub.
If they make anything else in No. 7 (heavier yarn), I’ll consider it. So nice.

First wear of the No. 8 in blue/grey today - really impressed with the fit (and weight).
-
Anyone have have any UES Polos? Was thinking about one of their Rahben Stitch Polos for the summer
-
I picked up an indigo one for the spring/summer, but haven’t had a chance to wear it yet. Went with a size 4 when I usually rock size 3 in their flannels. Fit is champ, fabric is mint

I've come here to rave about the UES flannels. I've had one this winter and man, it's so good. UHF's are of course amazing but they are quite dense and long where as the UES has a slightly slimmer fit and a bit of a looser weave I would say. I love it.
Not as warm as the UHF but I've already packed my UHF away and I still have the UES out, as I find it works better in these transitional months. It's so good I ordered another; the colours are a bit hit and miss I would say but I guess that means there is something for everyone.
-
@BalticBob I'm a big fan of them too, UES in general actually.
-
Still trying to beat the indigo out of this tricotine. In and out of heavy rotation since October, wear/wash count is somewhere between a little and a lotta! Been really happy with it so far.
-
@freepickin damn fine work!! The indigo has such beautiful gradation and tone. How would describe the fabric feel from new until now?
-
@Mizmazzle it's evolved quite a lot over the last handful of months, it was stiff and oversized when I first got it. I didn't take pre measurements but I think it has shrunk quite a bit to be much more form fitting, and drapes really well. The texture is very soft, almost a bit spongy(?) if that makes sense, and it doesn't crease easily at all anymore.
-
@freepickin I’ve got a crisp, brand new one on ice in my closet that’s going to be devirginized next fall!!
-
@freepickin damn nice job on yours man. Ran into similar issues on shrinkage with mine and planning on grabbing a size up this year
-
@Mizmazzle look more than good in the sleeves. How’s the P2P? Should be good either way if you only cold soak wash it.
-
@flannel-slut I think the P2P is the one I’ll have to be most careful with. It’s good now but def the most trim of all the dimensions.
-
I’ve just learned about this tricotine shirt… and of course they’re sold out everywhere. UES said restocks would be around sept.-nov. though. But damn I’m still jealous of the glorious fades!!!
-
@Mizmazzle when I had mine it did shrink mostly in length after a cold wash but not that much in p2p
-
@FlavourFade that’s great info man. I do appreciate it. I’m going to go easy on the machine washes and most certainly avoid warm/ hot water.
