@jerkules that would have been a solid casting, he crushed a similar role ‘Talented Mr Ripley’. Your post got my mind running on which 90’s (book was published in ‘92) actors could play Henry - Richard E. Grant I think could do it justice. And a bonus thought if they made it today he could make an excellent Julian.

On a serious note I highly recomend this either in print or narrated on headphones

I love reading, of course there's a reading thread on here...
I mostly read on kindle though, I just finished South of The Border, West of The Sun by Murakami ... good read, but weird.

@tody You'll enjoy "Never Flinch" if you enjoyed Holly, the "Bill Hodges" series is what got me into reading, I read them all in like a month during summer 2023.

Holly Gibney gets a lot of hate as a character, but I enjoy her.

Also King is my favourite author so maybe I'm biased
