@Alex is this the same fabric that the 389 is made from? From what I see it is a different weight from the 389 which is 12oz. Is the green sulphur dye used on the IHV-50 different than the 389 too?

@Luijim78 Cool, what is the texture like? Is it soft or rough? Dense? Lightweight?

@Oaktavia in my opinion the consistency and weight are perfect, it is more three-dimensional and slightly rougher than the 12oz, but crispy and a little stiffer than the 21oz, I hope to be able to take a comparison photo of all three fabrics, as a first impression for me it is the best Sashiko by IH, I hope they use this fabric for some jackets and/or shirts

Man I'm excited for this and it will be my first and only vest (but now I also want a brown duck one). I had to delay shipping until next week as not around the house to sign for it ... IH crew is always amazing w/ shipping requests and my UPS driver is great as far as the last mile goes. I want it now!

wearing mine for a few days now. Absolutely love it. It seems the canvas back is a little heavier than the ihv-02 and even heavier than the ihv-30. Anyone know the canvas weights?

XL is a little tight at the beer beer belly, but I guess there will be a little stretch and I need to loose some weight too
