We've been in town for four days and decided to come here again on our last day. We got the corn casserole both times it was so good @jordanscollected . Might have been the best que I've ever had? And all of the sides were fantastic too. Gonna miss this place.

Back in Sao Paulo since Tuesday for a bit of paperwork errands.
This is likely my standout meal for the trip. Sashimi bowl with mix of fish & seafood picked daily by the chef. It was delicious. Their miso was OUTSTANDING…possibly the tastiest I’ve had. Restaurant called RYO. Just noticed it got Michelin rated some years ago.I found this belgian saison to be excellent. I’ll try to find it in supermarkets.

The place has a Michelin recommendation for 2023 and 2024.

I have not. And for some reason visiting them has never been on my radar, I tend to prefer low key places. The two best meals of my life were eaten in cheap as chips husband and wife joints....
I tend to agree with you,and tend to seek out off the beaten path/under the radar kind of places in NYC. Although with the advent of the internet/social media,if you’re really good it’s hard to stay under the Radar, and nothing is cheap in NYC these days. May have to take you to Uncle Lou’s in Chinatown next time you’re in NYC.
