IHB-04 - Super Heavy Double Pronged Monster Belt

[goosehd]

@Anesthetist …grail piece for me. At one time, we asked @Alex and he mentioned it may make a comeback and I always hold a little hope to see them released again.

Thanks for sharing and here’s to hoping

[SourPower]

This is an epic belt, first time seeing this.
Thanks for reviving this thread @Anesthetist !

[Alex]

@goosehd think that hope was shortlived, sadly. Seems it was a Japanese no

[jimcord]

Samurai makes a thick double prong belt, big oversize buckle that might be a good sub.

[Daniel San]

@jimcord
once ordered one from Samurai but I wasn’t convinced of the quality. the part were the prong is mounted is cut very thin
Don’t think it will last long at that point.
send it back
and if i’am not mistaken Mo @Kasi had one and the prong broke.

@Daniel-San

Yes it did came out hammer it back in.
Worst belt worse brand.

Right now like @labrat told me flat head belts are the best leather and have 2 of them.

If you are in the EU, check out Luke's Belts for super thick leather and amazing craftmanship https://www.lukes-custom-belts.de/shop/guertel/

I dug my Monster Belt out again. It fits into the loops of my Papa Nui X Rite Stuff Sailor Moku Pants.

[goosehd]

One of my true IH grails that I have chased for years. When I first joined this belt was still in stock, albeit only in a size medium. I tried to convince myself that the medium would work, watching the stock daily in hopes of a return of the size larges. In my hesitation, the last medium belt finally sold and the product discontinued (Extinct)...

The other day, @Anesthetist posted an ad in the marketplace that he was selling his large and that the monies from the sale would go to a good cause. A double win from a true pillar of the forum and community.

Well it arrived on Tuesday and it's everything I hoped it to be which is seriously overbuilt and unlike anything that I've run across before (and probably ever will again).

My sincerest thank you to Matt! Thank you for helping me find my grail.

[sabergirl]

Hell yeah! I love this story ️.

I don’t think I’m man enough for this belt but I’ve always admired it.

[goosehd]

@sabergirl I'm just glad that he broke it in first...it's insane!!

[Anesthetist]

I’m glad it found a good home! Hit it w/ some mustang paste and it will literally last forever.
Hard to believe but this belt was surprisingly soft and wearable fresh out of the blue bag. Amazing quality and craftsmanship (as usual).

[hajduk]

I own that one. Black leather. It's a lethal weapon. But as written previously, surprisingly soft from the start. After all these years, mine still creaks.
It is a total piece of art!️
