In terms of rugged durability is the horsehide leather jacket more or less durable than the split steerhide type III jacket?

@weftyarn I'm still in awe at home settled in your combs are on the sleeves. Mine seems like as soon as I take it off, it goes back to looking like new. (not really, but it's not as dramatic as yours!)

@seawolf Ive been through a few rain showers which I have the feeling helped a lot! The jacket feels better and better the more I wear it. I absolutely love this thing. Have also gotten more compliments now that it looks more worn in / mine.

@fifediesel Looks very good! I’d keep that for sure. (In my experience tight leather jackets may look nice in photos, but you end up never using them).

Came in right before I went in for work. Didn’t have time to try it on properly but throwing it on over my work clothes it seemed to be a perfect fit. This jacket is one juicy suit of armor. Can’t wait to wear it

@fifediesel I know that feeling with the extra leather in the elbow area. It definitely looks hilarious in the beginning, but will get better with time as the leather drapes better.
