@aetherist. It will shrink up to an inch in the waist. Most get about 0.5 of an inch in shrinkage. It will also loose about 1 inch in the inseam. The waist will stretch out to pre soak measurements with wear. The inseam will not.

Thank you so much for your explanation. I will try to use it for the first 3-4 weeks and do a gentle warm soak later.

My recommendation is to hot soak them and get it out of the way. Having said that there are people that never soak them and just wear them. Looks like you have them hemmed. Did you take into account that you will probably loose 1 inch in the inseam?

Noted. I was planning to just wear then and soak/wash later. Maybe around month 6-8. But kinda worry that it will shrink in some areas and will make the fades area shifts a bit.

And yes. I hemmed them to get a single cuff look on my boots. Plus the tailor said they gave extra 1 inch for the shrinkage portion.
