Ok, last post on these until it makes sense. Day2, same spot, cold wash hang dry last night, Subtle additional softening, maybe 1/4” hem shrinkage, barely perceptible hint of blue emerged, surprisingly a little bit of roping after wash. Outstanding fabric.

Could be just me, but man... Compared to all of my other pairs (indigo, black, even duck), these things don't want to start showing signs of significant evo, no matter what I do in them

@cityofdelusion great, these are my next pair too but in the 555 cut. How many wear days have you clocked up? I’ve got about 8 days on mine but am waiting to concentrate on them when my 21S need a wash.

I'm afraid I don't count wear days, but I've been wearing them at least two to three days a week I'd say.

This may be a stupid question, but I've had these on sleep until now, when the temperatures higher, and my beloved 888 25oz and 21oz is taking a little break, until the temperatures drop. The thing is that they bleed a lot of color. My fingers and nails are darker, just by putting the jeans on. I fear that my lighter/grey car seats will take some "damage" along with my couch etc. Does it help giving them a wash? I usually have at least 200+ wears before I wash my IH jeans for the first time, and now I am afraid that it will loose fading potential, if I wash them now.. any tips are very welcomed

they’ll stop crocking eventually but washing once (or twice) probably wont save your couch (or your car). just gotta embrace that or put a towel down. I bet you could try washing and drying your way through the crocking but that seems needlessly wasteful. maybe you could avoid the couch or the car for a while with these. and/or dont worry about the atari? maybe these you wash more frequently and see if you like the fades you get from doing that? I see many most excellent fades from people that wash weekly*. I may just be trying that myself with a couple pairs I am getting into.

@Boit thanks a lot for your helpful answer good sir! I think I'll just try to stay away from the car and the couch for a little while these then. But it's also tempting to experiment with a little more frequent washing as you said..

any updates on these? both restock and/or fades? Haven't seen much 14oz OD fades but I'm a huge fan of the 14's and these seem to be still sulfur od, ya?
