@Tobi, like @Luijim78 I find that wearing under a longer shirt, like a western or cpo, really opens up more possibilities for wear. I'll leave the shirt unbuttoned or partially buttoned to let the vest show it's awesomeness!

for vests do you go by same measurements as for westerns? I'm usually a Large in Westerns and UHF.

@bluemantra Really depends on the measurements of the piece being sold. Too hard to tell at this point.

FWIW I have preferred to size down on IH vests in the past, if the length will allow. The p2p is larger usually, because the armholes are cut lower. I do also like a trim vest over a tee or thin shirt, so ymmv if you want to layer more. Measurements will tell more of the story when they come out.

I still don't feel great about snagging the lone XS narrow hickory vest, but it did end up fitting me the way I like. I have IH vests in both XS and S and they all fit just slightly different, but being in between the two sizes generally allows me to make either one work one way or another.

I'm also hoping that there will be enough in the smaller sizes for each of us. But let's just wait to see the dimensions and we'll go from there.

I won't be going for the upcoming IHV-03-BRN, so at least that will be one vest where we won't be fighting over.

I wear mine with a light/medium tucked in tee, sometimes under an open shorter length jacket.

With this setup, I can wear a tee to the office and not feel out of place. And I like being able to show the belt.

On rare occasions I may wear it over a button up shirt, but it must be slim fitting, light weight, and a solid color.

@isXnext no need to feel bad - you should always go for the size that fits best. I have most of the vests and am a solid size XS in all of them, so I’m assuming the same with this one; the size Small would be too big for my short and thin stature. If for some reason it would be sized smaller than normal, would probably work to our advantage in terms of quantity with us competing for the size Small - but IH has been fairly consistent with the vest dimensions from my experience. Fingers crossed that there’s enough quantity in size XS for the three of us or that dimensions work out that someone is in a size Small instead. Time will tell.

The sizing seems to have left me out. Only up to 3x is able to view(eBay) 24" long. I doubt the next size up will be 2" longer lol

@CosmoSix5 I'm guessing the fit with this vest is supposed to be a more traditional, shorter cut meant to hit at waist level instead of hips, sort of like that non-modified Type 3 you're currently selling. Not a bad thing per-se but can be trickier to pull off for taller gents like you and me.
