@Matt bass, and… rhythm bass… those silly kooks.

Brings me back to visiting my sister in college and listening to this as I fell asleep drunk at the end of the night.

                  Think it, be it.

@IrishHeart I was thrown off the stage at one of their shows back in '03 when they still toured at colleges. Ah good times or interesting times I'm not sure which

@IrishHeart Have fun. I first saw them on their Do or Die tour here in Europe and a couple of times after that. I always thought that Mike McColgan was their best singer, but Al Barr did a good job. Now with only Ken Casey singing, I'm not sure if I'd enjoy it as much.

@tody I know what you mean, but I think they still put on a good show and bang out a good tune. Hopefully they don’t disappoint.

@IrishHeart saw them twice, on the warriors code and meanest of times tours I think. Always a fun show, but I lost track of them after Signed and sealed in blood. May have to go back and listen to their later oeuvre. @tody I hadn’t realized Al Barr had left. I liked the combination of him/McColgan and Ken Casey

@Tago-Mago Al Barr wanted to take time out to help look after his mother who had been ill. I think it was left that he may come back to the band at some point in the future. Hopefully that is the case as I agree with @tody that they are better with him.

@Aetas I bought their latest, which I love, and bought a ticket for their Munich show even before that. That, plus talking to @seawolf about them made me revisit their catalogue, which reinforced their status as my favourite band of all time. Their progression throughout their career is fantastic, and I love every phase of it.
