Hey there, how does the fit of these work pants compare to the 888s 21oz denim? I'm a 31 in my 888s and am confident looking at the size chart a 31 in these work pants would work well. Thank you and happy Friday!

@Subprime. I am fairly positive that the 829's are based on the 634 cut. They are more of a straight cut than a tapered. Lower rise and fuller mid thigh, knee and wider hem than the 888.

52 wears and 2 washes. Wonderful pair of pants. It's slim pickings out there for heavyweight black denim straight cut jeans unfortunately. I'm very glad these exist for that niche. Maybe I'll grab the 21oz 634SBG someday.

The serge is certainly an interesting fabric, both soft and supple but also thick. It's kinda tough for me to get the creases to stick because it's so soft, but the dye also just falls off so I can't complain at all!

Super love the cut of these pants, though I miss the bells and whistles of the regular cuts like the leather patch & arcuate, et cetera. I have a feeling the new relaxed cut will come out someday and scratch both itches for me though

Another day, another wear. Really happy with how these are coming along. I lost my little leather fade log so will no longer attempt to keep track of wears & washes... Oh well, c'est la vie. I'll still keep posting pictures though because damn I love the black serge
