As mentioned in the reveal, I think I will need to touch this first. So happy with my 11oz longsleeves, it's hard to imagine the difference.

Quoting myself here - damn, that's cozy. Wouldn't have expected it to be that much different from the 11oz longsleeves, but it surely is. Feels a lot more stretchy, and it's totally soft on the inside. Great layering piece, that's why I got it in a fairly slim fitting XL.

Coming back with a lot of praise for this piece. Kept me warm during the last week in Texel, in stormy weather. The new years dive was cancelled due to the bad weather, but with this henley as a layering piece, everything was warm and cozy

I think black snaps would be even better than any buttons.

Would this fleece be able to be made into a Western (yes I'm angling for IHSH-GOAT v2).

Picked one of these up last week, NWT from eBay, and have to say WOW it's so comfortable! It's almost hard to believe they accomplished the feeling of the exterior OR the interior without synthetics. Brings to mind how versatile cotton really is. I'm glad to have such a warm (yet lightweight) sweater that doesn't immediately pickup that funky synthetic armpit smell like most others. It would be cool to see another run of this, maybe slightly slimmer even, so it functions even better as a base or mid-layer. Still, this will serve me well for years to come, I'm sure.

I like the white buttons. Might be a bit more interesting with a dark colored placket though. Something like a dark gray or military/OD Green would be cool to see. Then, if you used black buttons, they would have something to contrast against -however slightly- to keep the henley look.
