IH-742-BLK - 10oz Double Front Duck Shorts - Black

Our 4-pocket double front shorts, made from a 10oz Japanese duck canvas. This cut is slightly shorter than our cargo styles, designed with over-engineered features including double-thickness thigh panels, reinforced belt loops and poly/cotton constructional stitching for strength. Finished with secure snap-fastening rear pockets, brass reinforcement rivets and a Universal brass zipper fly, the result is a robust pair of shorts that offer comfort and timeless style. The hardwearing duck canvas is woven with sulphur-dyed yarns, allowing the colour to fade and mellow with vintage character through wear.

Surprised to see nobody has commented on these.

I’m thinking they will look great with some hard wear and a few washes. I really like them.

Maybe swap the copper rear pocket snaps for the brass Iron Heart ones?

@Danimal506 this one is top of my list for this season. make-it or brake-it for me is gonna be fit and dimensions in my waist size. I’ve not seen these worn yet. It will be interesting to see what H changed on the production pairs. Personally I like the copper back button…and all the different metals used for rivets and buttons.

Snagged the last 36! Upgraded the rear pockets to brass snaps too. I think they will look really good!

@Danimal506 that is a great call. I was on the fence about adding GAH snaps to my indigo pair, but decided to hold off. I think brass is going to be money, definitely post up some pics!

@SourPower Yea when people were talking about the three different colors/types of hardware on these, I had the idea to put brass on the pockets instead. I think they will look really good! I will definitely post pics.

I also got the denim shorts, but left those as is. I kinda like the copper snaps on the denim. And don’t mind the mix and match.

Hello brother … thanks. I can’t say how they would compare to the denim shorts because I do not own them. Out of the two that I purchased, the black is my favourite (for now).

How are you enjoying yours? I think these should stretch easily? I really like the double front, its got that 822 feel.
