James Hood's Beautifica 360, holy shit that was a trip and I wasn't even under the influence of anything. Talk about an immersive experience. I hear Mesmerica is just as cool. I totally recommend checking it out.

@WhiskeySandwich looks really neat. What kind of theater do you view this in and how long was the running time?

@flannel-slut its super neato. about 45 minutes. I think its only shown in modern planetariums. Thats the kicker. Theres no story or anything, its just an audio/video experience like nothing else. The visuals fill your entire field of vision so it's like VR without a headset. It's intense enough to be a bit disorienting if you get motion sickness. I just thought it was fun tho.

I'd say debatable. Depends on the culture you're from. Here in NoGer we'd say 'geht', which basically means 'absolutely fucking insane'.

Watched "The Chef" directed by and starring Jon Favreau for the first time last night, great if you want something light hearted

Big Tim Burton fan, big Beetlejuice fan.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was aggressively terrible. Kind of shocked at how well-received it is. I made it to the end expecting it to redeem itself somehow but no such luck.
