Student walk past me while I was waiting for my students to come in to my class. She looked at me and said, “you look scary! But also, you seem really cool.”
To which I replied, “that’s a great combination in a teacher.” She agreed and drifted back into the sea of students flowing down the hallway.In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...

I happened to be driving the other day and realized I was behind one of my professors. I used voice to text to say "hey, I'm behind you. Wave!" The passenger who I assumed was his wife, turned around and waved. I then got a text saying "My daughter says your car is fire." That made my day!
