IHM-37-KHA - Oiled Whipcord N1 Deck Jacket - Khaki

Really trying to decide (quickly) between the Khaki or wait for the army green… anyone have any logical advice for these color predicaments? Other than buy both haha.

can anyone speak to the fit difference between this an the A2? I wear XXXXL and I see the measurements show it a bit smaller, but curious to hear what people may think...

also is it overkill to have both?

Love this jacket. I prefer this to the green as it's closer to the original. Probably this will be warmer than the A2.

Hard to see how dark the oiled khaki is vs non oiled. I’ve seen the photos here but they look so different from other websites. Are there any videos of the oiled khaki?

We personally really pride ourselves on accurate colour matching on the website so please do take out product phots of the two into consideration for your comparison.

@m4xime I don’t mean to step on any toes here … but the khaki sleeves measure about an 1” shorter than last years IHM37 ODG …. It’s making me seriously consider the khaki.

Is there a specific reason the oiled has gone much slower than the none?

@Gavin666 which non-oiled are you referring to? This one has only been available for a week. I didn't follow how fast the regular N1s sold, but they have been on the website for an extra 3 weeks. Maybe that's one reason

@Gavin666 The IHM-35-KHA (regular whipcord) was not produced this season, so any stock remaining is from the previous run

Its the first time we ever did a black / black N1, a lot of people already own a Khaki N1 and may not see the need to get an oiled one too

Was wearing this today - perhaps for the last time for a while. Does anyone know what the two sewed bar tacks are on each sleeve? I can't figure the reason. Is it just aesthetics?

@will6er the tacks are usually for high stress areas, however I am unable to feel whether the storm cuff material is held in place by said tack.

There is a good 1.5 inches from where the storm cuff ‘ends’ to where the tacks are situated, but unfortunately it is not abundantly obvious that the storm cuff material is hidden/folded underneath by the 2 inch fold inside, but I would say the cuff is not held in place by the tacks and it is likely more aesthetics.
