I am super jealous, I spent best part of 10 years in the former CCCP, but never got to any of the 'Stans , I will correct that one day….
But anyway.

@Mister_Brue Is this your first time to India? How long will you be there and where will you be going?
-
@Mister_Brue You’ll have an awesome time ~ India definitely has its own vibe. I was down that way a couple of years ago with my wife. Throwing Palolem Beach (Goa) and Hampi on your radar as they were places that we enjoyed in that area. I’ll be off to Nepal in 3 weeks and starting to get excited.

Kojima (and get the best Udon ever),
Where is this udon? We're passing through just over a week from now.
-
@pechelman no, I saw that on the map when I was looking for you to, and whilst it looks familiar, it’s not the one we’re referring to. That place looks great though, I would check it out

A mixture. Go and see some of the workshops with Alex in Kojima (and get the best Udon ever), a meeting with Haraki in Hachioji, a heritage workwear show in Beijing (Alex, AdamC, Josh and Sarina), and Thanksgiving with @ROman and Ralph in North Carolina....
Looking forward to hearing about Kojima, Hachioji and Beijing, and really looking forward to Thanksgiving......

It's been a bloody long journey, but I'm finally approaching my final destination in Thailand after over 30 hours of travel.
Managed to sneak an hour of sleep on the second flight, but strangely enough I've kinda trancended the tiredness and am feeling ready to enjoy my evening upon arrival...
First came to Thailand in 2014, and completely fell in love with the North of country. COVID aside, I've been back every year since.
I'll be staying in my favourite town of Pai for a week, before flying down south to meet a friend on Koh Samui for some diving and New Year's festivities. After that were coming back up north for another 9 nights!
Feel blessed to have three weeks off work, but my friend managed to get five weeks off, he always has to one up me ...
