@goosehd , I was fortunate enough not to take much internal damage. There is good range of movement. I do have a nice 2"+, jagged laceration, created by a wayward hole saw, that took 9 sutures to close...

@sabergirl Thanks, Ann. But, with any luck, the stitches come out in 10 days, and the scar will serve as a reminder to keep my hands out of the line of fire. Besides, things could be far worse. I could be dealing with the aftermath of a natural disaster. You've been in my prayers. Take care.

@scooter To cheer you up, let me tell you a little story about my granddad, who was a mechanical engineer. When he retired, he constructed and built himself a table saw. Without all the security bells and whistles, of course. Managed to cut two and a half fingers off all by himself… Doctors were able to fix him, though and when he passed away years later, it was with 10 working fingers on his hands, all in the right places. So I hope you have a speedy recovery, too!
