@Inorganic I finished it quickly…not because it was amazing, but rather I just wanted to get it over with. I hate not completing books. 3/10 do not recommend it.

I started this last week as my first audiobook. I needed something to be background noise while I’m painting my plastic army men and this feeds the lore behind my army.

After ‘OK Computer’ the next release of Radiohead was ‘Kid A’ in 2000.
Perhaps one of the most curious metamorphosis of a band seen.
Took me years to connect with Kid A.

            More 33third books here.

Music from Radiohead-Kid A to The Smile-Live in Montreux in the Music thread!.

Following on from this discussion, @EdH and @endo might enjoy the novel “Q”, set in the time of the German Peasants’ War and the Münster Rebellion. It’s been a while since I read it but it left an impression!

Might have to pull this off the shelf tonight and revisit.

Read some newer Stephen King lately and enjoyed that. The thought of revisiting the classics crossed my mind more than once. Might start with the Dark Tower series...

I was hanging out with @mclaincausey once and he showed me a book called Musashi. It’s taken me a while to finally get a copy and start reading it…I’m about 2/5ths into it and completely enthralled.

I know this book has been shown some love here before, but damn if I couldn’t add my admiration for it as well.

In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...
