My pair is still in it's fade infancy. Just starting to see a bit of shade peeking in a couple spots though. These are my favorite right now, I'm actually kinda babying these.

@WhiskeySandwich Yea, the patch has not taken all of the super hot washes very well. But this is exactly what I expected. At first i was using plenty of obenaufs to keep it going, but it was unwinnable war.
Regarding the washes, I don't have exact count but its almost 2 years now and I want to say that maybe every 2 months?
This is also the only IH pair that I'm really giving the business. They are 36 instead my usual 34 and I really wanted to shrink them as much as possible. Even after that they are a bit to big, so they ended up replacing my sweatpants. I have no mercy for them, but I baby all of my other IH stuff, really trying to delay the aging and prolong the wear time. -

Thanks dudes. These have def turned into my favorite pair. For me, the fit is perfect, and the denim is the best ever. I’m pretty psyched on the baby fades as well, these are gonna be glorious in think.

Any lifters in here?
Where I live our stockist generally doesn't get straight fits of anything in. So the biggest IH model would be the 888.
My big legs but small waist tends to strain lots of pants, and I get a lot of abrasion in the crotch and between thigh area.
I wonder if anyone can weigh in to say if the classic 634 cut could be roomier than the 888? Going by the size charts, it would seem the 888 has a bit more thigh room, a bit less knee, but very very similar overall. But as I've realised, flat measurements don't totally capture all aspects of fit, especially under movement or sitting or any daily use.

Hi guys. I’m brand new to Iron Heart. I was wondering if it’s recommended to soak these before wearing or if that is not a good idea. I know these are sanforized but I guess my biggest concern is if I want to hem the length at some point. I’m not sure how much the length will shrink after first soak/wash. Also, will a pre-wear soak affect the fades or fit at all? Thanks!
