@WhiskeySandwich how long have you had yours? Ive had mine 3 years worn on and off and they have faded a lot, I have washed them every few months in that time though. Will get some pics up next week

@AdamC oh not long at all. They're my latest pair but I'm surprised they seem to be slower than my 21ib, which I'd expected to be similar. I'm sure they'll catch up, I'm just looking for a little contrast before i start frequent washes. I think the black weft on those ib's just make initial fades more apparent. I'd love to see yours after a few years. I can already tell this denim is going to make for an awesome pair.

Nope - no tumble dryer. Just ‚natural air drying‘ only.

Indeed. I „earned“ my fades with a lot of activities like hiking & cycling. After a day in the home office I’m out for 25 km bike tour only in order to develop my Jeans

Yeah mine went from damn they still look brand new to wait a second there’s some noticeable bright blues all at once.

Bike commuting 5 days per week helps. And yeah the 21ib faded so much faster the the standard 21, no comparison for me. Love ‘‘em both.

@drewfonse that seems to have been the case with every pair of IH I have. I usually ignore fades until one day they surprise me. It's just later than I thought it'd be, compare to past experience. It's not bothering me, especially since I've been outside a LOT lately and it's just been too hot for 21oz for too long. My 14's have been getting pretty abused lately on the other hand.

Yup, my 14 oz have been getting a workout too. I have a super snoopy co worker who I always catch staring at my pants.

i asked during the preview for FW2024 instagram show when the hell they would restock these jeans since they are out of a ton of sizes. they said it would be a couple months at least. so like Aug-Sept 2024 in case you were wondering like i was.

Yeah the roping is great on his pair. I would say that of all of my IH pairs, the 21s is the one that started roping almost immediately. Not sure why.

Oh, and every time I wash them they get really tight and my heart sinks. Not sure why I can’t remember that they will relax after 2-3 wears haha. Anyway, awesome jeans, back up pair wrapped up in my closet, and I’ll probably jump in the 1955 version whenever that comes back.

My pair is still in it's fade infancy. Just starting to see a bit of shade peeking in a couple spots though. These are my favorite right now, I'm actually kinda babying these.

@WhiskeySandwich Yea, the patch has not taken all of the super hot washes very well. But this is exactly what I expected. At first i was using plenty of obenaufs to keep it going, but it was unwinnable war.
Regarding the washes, I don't have exact count but its almost 2 years now and I want to say that maybe every 2 months?
This is also the only IH pair that I'm really giving the business. They are 36 instead my usual 34 and I really wanted to shrink them as much as possible. Even after that they are a bit to big, so they ended up replacing my sweatpants. I have no mercy for them, but I baby all of my other IH stuff, really trying to delay the aging and prolong the wear time.
