It never fails, as soon as basketball and hockey wrap up I find myself watching MNF games from 2019 on the NFL Network at midnight. Looking forward to summer being over and football returning. Planning a trip back to Minnesota this October to catch at least one game.

Nice to kind of wake this thread up a little bit. In Bill Parcell’s memoir he talks about “Gamesmanship” in the NFL,and he relates a story where the 49ers get the opening possession and before they’re about to start Bill Walsh says his headset isn’t working, so Parcells has to turn his headset off. Now he knows that the 49ers first 15 plays are scripted, but now he can’t send calls into the defense. After the game Parcells says to Walsh…You ever pull that shit again,I’ll fucking out you. I don’t like cheaters,but there’s probably a lot more of this so called gamesmanship going on then we might be aware of. Like he said if you think we’re stealing your signals cover it up.
