Visiting the Azores Islands with the fam. Faial-Pico-Sao Miguel.
Faial:
Vulcao dos Capelinhos. Last eruption end of the 1950's, impressive landscape as a result.

Caldeira volcano. There is a hiking trail around, 7km long on the rim. About 3 hours to do the trail, absolutely worth it.

We stayed in Horta, famous for being the stop for before or after heading across the Atlantic.

This is were we spent our evenings.

Next stop Pico.
