hi everyone. Had my engineers out for the first longer walk since I got them. Before I just wore them running some errands or around the house. Now after about two hours walk I noticed the right foot which was a little snug got better just while walking and I think will end up a good fit.
BUT I got a blister at the back of my right heel, what I never had from new boots. Should I be concerned about this? I think this is from rubbing against a small area of the leather which feels a little uneven and edged and is on both boots.

@FlavourFade I wouldn't worry too much as you are still in the break in process. Might try wearing different socks or wearing for shorter periods at a time until they are fully broken in.
One of my hardest pair of boots to break in (took the longest) are now my most comfortable because they are formed perfectly to my foot. I just had to be stubborn enough.

what D said. My black engineers are so comfortable at this point, they almost feel custom (literally smile every other time I slide them on) but in the beginning was vconcerned about the forefoot being too snug and if I should’ve went up half a size. At this point some rolls were developing and exchanging was off the table so I doubled down and wore em w a thicker sock (IHs engineer sock of course) and within a couple weeks, had noticeably more wiggle room. Definitely helps soften the blow w those early day friction points.
