Works on this are progressing slowly, too many side projects, and despite the fact that the first tour is planned in a month.
But today I took the chance to open up the covering of the two front doors to put in a prick stop (not what you think, but a piece of metal to make it less easy to break into the car. Also put Alubutyl in the doors to reduce vibration noises, and prepared the speakers to be exchanged for better ones. Who needs a bed in a van if you got a decent sound system?

looks great, did the same with our T6 bus .
There are great plug and play kits on the market . Took the one from Eton , what a difference -

I bet Transport for London can't wait to photograph it in September, right @endo?

Those windows are look really nice @endo. What makes them water and air tight? is there an adhesive or material between the wood frame and the window?
-
@jordanscollected like most mountings in such a car they are glued not bolted. It's basically the tightening pressure between the outer and inner frames and two different adhesives (the outer with more sealing - Dekaseal 8936 - and the inner with more adhesive properties - Sikaflex 221). Bolt/Screws could loosen due to the vibrations, and there is an amazing variety of glues nowadays.
