@Giles it wasn't, no... She lost interest after the effects of whatever made her think it was appropriate to accustom a man over chicken and chips wore off!

I just came to appreciate that I can wear whatever I want to work - within the bounds of good taste of course :).

Never really thought about that fact.

@RobeOfTheMagi same! It’s a privilege I do not take for granted.

In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...

I wear what I want most days. When I’m seeing a client or prospect I dress up.

My business wear is not an area of serious investment. I place more emphasis on casual stuff I wear on the daily.

                    Think it, be it.

Just ran across this post on the /rawdenim site and wanted to share.

Text for those who don't want to follow the link (User: u/Character-Chef1141)

Disclaimer. This occurred in October 2023. I’m making this post only and just only to share my experience upon Iron Heart performance as a bikers engineered jeans on a motorbike crash.

My buddies and I were driving back to our dorms on the interstate road at 11:00 p.m. on a Sunday night when it happened. We were going around 60kmh then all of a sudden a black scooter from the opposite direction made a u-turn, crossing a 2 continuous yellow line in the middle of the road. Unable to weave or brake, I t-boned him. Launched into the air, I propelled 7 or more meters forward and landed on my right side of the body, I rolled around on the tarmac then finally laid flat on my back. I checked my neck and back, I can feel them and there were no pain so my friends picked me up and I stood. Felt like a huge blow on my right ankle but upon seeing not a single scratch on my jeans, I stepped. It was dreadful, massive pain suddenly coming out of my right ankle. Pulled my jeans up and turns out that it was broken. I was quickly sent to an emergency room in a hospital nearby, had an X-ray, and was found to have a complete fracture. No scratch, no chafing, no bruises on both of my legs, just a broken ankle.

Upon getting to a stable state, I checked my jeans and I was surprised to see that it wasn’t ripped or anything. I was trying hard to find the marks that were left from the crash, there were barely any. Just a slight contrast fade on the whiskers on the right.

I’ve read many from the community, Iron Heart official site and many discussion platforms that Iron Heart was originally made for bikers, designed to be durable and to some extent protective for motor bikers. It’s just astonishing how it performs on this crash, getting nothing but only a more contrast fade on the right whiskers, plus I didn’t get any wounds on both of my legs other than a broken ankle.

Iron Heart doesn’t just barks, it bites. It’s truly engineered for bikers. If you’re a biker and looking for something that is not only durable but also protective piece of trouser that is casual enough to wear off the bike, I highly recommend you to get an Iron Heart denim.

Haven't been posting much lately, as I have some troubling stuff going on which for sure will be sorted in due course.
But it's so awesome to have this place to check in every evening on what everyone is up to. Really some quality time I can spend on here!

Yesterday I realised I could still solve a Rubik's Cube after around five years of not picking one up, once you know how to do it, it's just muscle memory I guess!

The most common method (which I'm confident that absolutely anyone can learn in 4/5 hours if they're so inclined) involves memorizing a sequence of 7 movements that can be used to incrementally put the coloured pieces in the rights patterns/places. Once you know these movements, and the order in which the patterns must be constructed, any combination can be solved with ease.

The method used by the 'pros' however, is a completely different story. They assign a numerical value to each of the nine pieces on each side of the cube, and conduct insanely complex mathematical equations to work out the minimum number of movements required to solve the puzzle.

I use the first method 😆

A video guide like this is all you need if you wanna show off to your son!

“𝑁𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑙𝑒𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑓𝑢𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑏 𝑦𝑜𝑢. 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑚𝑒𝑒𝑡 𝑖𝑡, 𝑖𝑓 𝑦𝑜𝑢 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑡𝑜, 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑎𝑚𝑒 𝑤𝑒𝑎𝑝𝑜𝑛𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑜𝑛 𝑤ℎ𝑖𝑐ℎ 𝑡𝑜𝑑𝑎𝑦 𝑎𝑟𝑚 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑡.”
