@DeeDee85 which shirts you lookin at? 6oz vs 7.5oz vs 11oz all quite different.

@neph93 those look so nice. I am really looking forward to choosing one in person.

@WhiskeySandwich I just got a pair of IH engineer socks and was really happy with the quality. I generally wear Darn Tough socks, but iron heart socks are just as if not better IMO.

Anyone who tried to starch soft denim (specifically: Sashiko) to make it stiff(er) and can share some instructions and insights based on their experience? I've read some of the relevant posts on the forum already, but I'm wondering if there are any specific/recent/easier/better methods without having to reinvent the wheel and possibly mess up something irreversibly.

@Oaktavia I’m thinking the 6.5oz longer body cut in a navy and a dark grey to start with… I love the look of the 11oz but always feel it looks a little short in the body. Guess I need to try one on and find out?

Have 21oz Type 3s been made in ladies sizes before?

I'd love to get hold of one for my girl as a birthday present, she's actively taken an interest in my denim/IH collection so I thought it'd be cute.

She even insisted on wearing my Wabash jacket out last weekend 💗

@T4920 I don't know if there has been a ladies specific size in the 21oz type 3, but depending on her size you may get away with one of the smaller size men's jackets (either the Men's small or XS).

My wife is typically a women's medium in IH shirts and jackets which is around a xs or small in the men's. The tapering is not quite the same though from the men's to women's cuts.

EDIT: I just checked the online IH Japan website and do not see the Type 3 in ladies sizes.

@Giles said in Something For The Ladies:

We have decided that we will start stocking a few ladies sized shirts in the more popular styles.  So inbound we have.

Ladies Small and Ladies Medium (both smaller than our normal XS) in:

                            IHSH-13, IHSH-21 and IHSH-33

                            More will follow.

Sizing will be published in the appropriate threads when we have them here.

@T4920 Maybe the sleeves would be excessively long in men's sizes XS or S, the LM flannel shirts I could never buy them just for the overall length and the sleeves, although now it seems that the girl's type 3 are all oversized so it could be great if she likes this style

@Luijim78 the sleeve length is a huge difference for the men's vs women's shirts. I bought an XS men's flannel for my wife and she had to shorten the sleeves like 4-5" as well as have it tapered on the sides.
